I have looked all over the internet for a dvd on how to catch striped bass. I have found
three.
The first was an old man catching fish in New Jersey.
The second was a videographer showing underwater
footage of striped bass in action.
The third was three nuts screaming and yelling. These three
have a DVD where they show themselves drinking beer while they are fishing. They even tell you how obnoxious they are.
What These DVDS
Lack
1. None of these so-called fishermen have any hard core credentials proving that
they are expert striped bass fisherman. They don't give you any statistics on how many fish they have caught. They tell
you they have won fishing tournaments. Which tournaments have they won? There is footage of fishermen telling you they are
some of the best fishermen on the East Coast with nothing to back up their claims.
2. The Dvds are not teaching you how to catch striped bass. They give you a little
insight on what's going on. But, they lack the total picture of how to catch striped bass consistently and with confidence.
3. They lack being in the captain's mindset. Example: I have taken out hundreds of people with me over the years. Just because they
are on the boat catching thousands of fish, doesn't mean they have learned how to catch them. The point is the friends
I am taking fishing with me don't know what is going on in my mind in a certain situation while fishing. They think they are
learning how to catch fish but they really aren't. I always prove this by letting them be the captain and me the mate. They
take over and catch no fish. I return to the helm and we start catching fish immediately. That's why I developed my three-part system.
