Finally
the day has come for me to give up my deadly lobster lures & crawfish lures. I almost was not going to do it, but I have.
I invented
these lobster lures & crawfish lures when I was 16 years old. They imitate a live lobster or crawfish. My father
and I have caught thousands of striper's and 27 other species of fish with them.
Each jig
is hand poured and painted by Captain Jon. Striped Bass love to eat lobsters and crabs. Remember Captain Jon is
a lobsterman and there are no 2 lobsters or crawfish that look alike. Every
lobster jig or crawfish jig is painted differently. This is a specialty lure.
The
lure can be jigged on and off the bottom, verticle jigged, trolled, vertically suspended, yo-yoed, and cast from shore,
boat, or yakak and used by drift fishermen. It is a universal jig.
Did you know there are 90 different species of lobster. The
spiny lobsters with no claws there are 45 species and the clawed lobsters have 50 species.
Crawfish have over 500 different species in the world. In th
USA there are more then 330 types of crawfish.
Every saltwater fish on planet Earth eats lobsters and crabs and all fresh water fish eat some type of
crawfish.
These lobster
jigs or crawfish jigs have a revolutionary design. They are the next generation fishing lures. They will catch virtually
every species of fish in the world.
I have already caught 28 different types of saltwater fish while using these lures. They produce fish very well in the
dark. Most lobsters, crawfish, and crabs are more active in the night time.
These lures hold up to the toughest fish. The components of the jig are
very strong and durable. Other jigs on the market are made with a jig head and some type of soft plastic bait on the hook.
A fish can destroy the jig in a matter of seconds. My jigs are rugged. You can catch hundreds of fish with a single jig.
I make 2 types of lobster jigs or crawfish jigs. The first are 6 different size jigs that
are 1" to 2.75". The weights are from .5 to 8 ounces. I have painted them in 9 different colored designs. They
look like real lobsters or crawfish. They even have claws.
The second is a lobster tail with a piece of tubing added. I use tubing instead of hair. It simply lasts longer
and catches more fish. The weight is 4.5 ounces. There are 7 different colored patterns on the tails.
These lobster lures or crawfish lures will
catch fish when the other jigs won't produce. Remember the jigs represent a live lobster or crawfish and the stripers go crazy
for them.
When
other fisherman are using parachute jigs, andrus jigs, no alibi's, ect and the fish stop biting. I consistently
catch fish with my secret lobster/crawfish jigs.
